Hello, my name is Elena, founder of Blue Orchid. As launch day is finally here, all I can remember is the little girl who always dreamed about becoming a business woman. I wanted to own a store that would sell beautiful clothing for women. A store where any and all women could see themselves reflected. At moments I probably sounded like a broken record to my family and friends when I would speak about one day owning this store. The good thing is that regardless of how many years it has been of speaking of this store that only existed in my dreams, I was always encouraged to go for it. Now, I am here, a few hours from launch day trying not to tear up every time I think about all those years I spoke about this day and wondered how it would feel. The best thing is that I am experiencing this moment with my niece, Yanely, my partner in this new adventure.

 My desire is that women can see themselves reflected in Blue Orchid. A Blue Orchid woman is strong, kind, loyal, confident, intelligent, and loving. A woman who believes everything is possible, who knows the world is a better place if you give love and kindness to all, who cheers her fellow sisters, who isn't afraid to be herself, and who knows she CAN... and She WILL…This means you!

  I want Blue Orchid to not only be about beautiful clothing but also in building a community for women.  A community where we can encourage and empower one another. We are blessed to be women. Women can do anything and together we are unstoppable. I want each one of you to know that any dream you have in your heart can become reality. Keep speaking and visualizing those dreams. Believe all things are possible! You can do it!
